Allow your eyes to focus in one area of the print for a minute beforeyou move to another area. Your eyes need to get adjusted to the tiny print.
The length of the hand is compared to the length of the fingers. The hand is measured from the back of the wrist to the lower knuckle of the second finger. The area is measured from over the lower knuckles of the second finger to its tip.
If the hand is longer or shorter than the fingers, or the same length, you take the shape into account to be able to tell different personality traits in the subject. The best traits are those shown in both the fingers and hands of the same length.
By feeling the consistency of the flesh of the palm under the thumb and the index finger, one can tell many traits of character of the subject in question.
The palm proper extends from the tips of the fingers to the wrist, and from the base of the thumb to the edge of the palm, on the opposite side of the thumb.
