The merit of the candidate is
decided based on the following order
a.) Total Marks in Admission Test
b.) Marks in Part-I Admission Test
c.) Percentage marks in qualifying examination.
d.) Date of birth Certificate
The Syllabus for Quantitative Aptitude
Numbers, Decimal Fractions, Averages,
Problems pertaining to ages, Percentages, Profit and Loss, Ratio and Proportion,
Partnership, Time and Work, Time and Distance. Mixtures, Simple and Compound
Interest, Areas and Perimeter of polygons and circles, Volume and Surface areas of Spheres
and Cylinders, Calendar, Clock, Stock and Share, True and bankers Discounts, Data
Interpretation from Tables and Graphs.
GUIDELINES FOR B.C.A.
ADMISSION TEST
1. Each question contains Five alternative answers numbered as 1,2,3,4,5. Candidates have
to exercise their choice and write the number of the alternative answer which they
considered as correct answer in the appropriate box of the answer sheet given at the end
of the test paper.
For the convenience of the candidates, corresponding question numbers are printed on the
answer sheet; using one number for one box. Candidates have to write the number of the
alternate chosen in the appropriate box for the question in the answer sheet.

2. Answers written at any place, other than the appropriate box in the answer sheet are
invalid. They are also invalid if more than one number is written in any particular single
box and also when the number write-in the box is not clear or over written.
3. Answering the question, in any manner, other than the method indicated above will be
invalid. For Example, ticks crosses,etc,made in the boxes or else where is ignored.
4. Calculators and other Electronic/Mechanical gadgets are not allowed.
5. Answers must be written with blue/black/blue-black ink/ball pen only. Answers written
in any other ink or written with pencil are invalid.
6. In case of identification marks such as symbols, markings,pencil writing, writing with
any other ink etc.on the answer sheet, the answer sheet will not be valued.
7. Space for doing rough work for short problems will be provided in the question
paper-cum-Answer book itself. No additional sheets will be supplied for doing rough work.
8. The candidates are expected to write their Hall Ticket legibly. Only at the place(s)
specially provided for the purpose in the Answer Book. Further the candidate have to write
their Hall Ticket No.both in figures and words in the boxes provided, as illustrated
below:

ELIGIBILITY FOR APPEARING AT THE ADMISSION TEST
Candidates seeking admission to 3 years Bachelor of Computer Applications (B.C.A.) should
have passed Intermediate Examination (10+2 All disciplines including Vocational Streams)
conducted by Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or 3-years Polytechnic
Diploma conducted by S.B.T.E.T., A.P. or Equivalent. |
