FOREST SERVICES
ELIGIBILITY
PLAN OF EXAMINATION
The competitive examination for the Indian Forest Services comprises :(a) Written examination in (i) two compulsory subjects, viz.,
General English and General Knowledge - Max. marks 300 (ii) a selection from the optional
subjects listed below subject to the restriction on combination of subjects indicated in
the proviso thereunder. Candidates must take any two of these subjects- Max.marks 400.
(b) Interview for Personality Test of such candidates as
may be called by the Commission- Max. marks 150.
All the question papers for the examination are of
conventional (essay) type.
