ADMISSION NOTIFICATION FOR UNDERGRADUATE COURSES, i.e., MBBS/BDS,
ISM&H COURSES, BPT & B.Sc., (MLT) AND FOR 4 YDC B.Sc., (Nursing)
FOR THE YEAR 2007-08

Application forms through online for admission into the
following courses for the academic year 2007-08 into the colleges
affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada to
the available seats for admission by the Competent Authority are
invited from the eligible candidates:
1. MBBS & BDS Courses
2. ISM&H Courses, i.e., BAMS, BHMS and BNYS.
3. BPT & B.Sc.(MLT) Courses
4. B.Sc.(Nursing), i.e., 4 Years Degree Course
The candidates applying for the above courses should be an Indian
National and should satisfy the Local or Non-Local status in Andhra
Pradesh (Residence requirement) as laid down in Andhra Pradesh
Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admissions) Order, 1974 as
amended vide G.O.(P) No.646, dated 10-07-1979 of Government of
Andhra Pradesh. The rule of reservation will be strictly followed as
per the Government Orders.
The details of obtaining the online application form and submission
of the application form to the Registrar, Dr. NTR University of
Health Sciences, Vijayawada are as follows :--
1. The online application forms for the above courses will be
available in the Website http://appntruhs.ap.nic.in from 2.00 P.M on
12-07-2007 to 6.00 P.M. on 18-07-2007 only.
2. The candidate should fill the online application form available
in the Website with the data required-for through internet. The
online application form can be filled through any computer with
internet connection (home/internet café/net center). The candidate
is advised to fill the online application after going through the
prospectus of concerned course and by keeping all his/her certificates ready to enter his/her correct data. The candidate
should note the application number which appears on the online
application form, for future reference.
3. After completing the data entry on the online application form,
the candidate should take the print-out of the same.
4. The candidate should enclose the attested copies of relevant and
required certificates to the print-out application form in support
of his/her claim.
5. The candidate should paste an attested passport size photograph
in the space provided for in the application form.
6. The candidate should enclose the demand draft (original) to the
filled-in online application form towards Registration fee of
application form.

Note: 1. Registration fee should be paid for each of the above 4
courses and the demand draft should be drawn on any Nationalized
Bank in favour of the Registrar, Dr. NTR University of Health
Sciences, payable at Vijayawada only.
2. If the candidate is applying for more than one course, single
demand draft for total amount can be enclosed.
3. The candidate should write his/her name and the course(s)
applied for, and application No with blue or black pen on the
backside of the demand draft.
7. The candidate should fill the details of demand draft in the
space provided for, in the print-out application form. The
candidate and the parent / guardian should sign in the
declaration area of print-out application form.
8. Registration of Application Form:
The candidate should submit one copy of the print-out of the
filled-in online application form alongwith the attested copies
of required certificates and the Demand Draft (original) towards
the registration fee to the Registrar, Dr. NTR University of
Health Sciences, Vijayawada, either by post or in person on or
before 6.00 PM on 20-07-2007. The candidate shall clearly write
the name of the course(s) applied for, on the cover.
Application forms received without copies of the required
certificates, demand draft towards Registration Fee and
incomplete applications and applications received after last
date and time will stand automatically rejected.
Note: The candidature of the applicant will not be considered
for counseling unless the print-out application form is
submitted to the University alongwith the requisite enclosures
on or before the last date. The University holds no
responsibility for postal delays / Loss in Transit.

Candidates should have passed two years Intermediate (10 + 2
pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry,
Botany, Zoology and English individually and must have
obtained not less than 50% marks taken together in Physics,
Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. In respect of candidates
belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, and
Backward Classes the marks obtained shall be not less than
40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and
Zoology. |

The admission of Male Candidates will be as per the
order issued in G.O.Ms.No.306, HM&FW (K2) Department,
dated 1-8-2006. The List of Colleges admitting male
candidates will be notified on the University website
and during the counseling.

Note: The marks obtained in optional subjects in the
Intermediate or
Equivalent Examination is the criteria for selection. |

The candidate can view / print the registration card which will be available on
net soon after the application and DD received at the University. This
registration card has to be shown at the counseling center.
Separate
notifications will be issued for admission into BUMS and
B.Sc.(Nursing) 2 YDC courses later.
The dates of
counseling for different courses will be notified later,
separately.

NOTE:
1. MBBS, BDS & ISM&H Courses: In case permission is
granted by Government of India for the academic year 2007-08 for
any New College(s), the seats in those colleges will also be
included for allotment of seats in counseling. NO FURTHER
NOTIFICATION WILL BE ISSUED BY THE UNIVERSITY IN THIS REGARD.
2. BPT, B.Sc.(MLT) &
B.Sc.(Nursing) Courses: In case any new colleges are
affiliated to the University for the year 2007-08 before the
date of counseling, the seats in those colleges also will be
filled up. NO FURTHER NOTIFICATION WILL BE ISSUED.
