INTO MBBS / BDS COURSES FOR THE YEAR 2004-05
NOTIFICATION FOR COUNSELING
In exercise of
the powers conferred under G.O.Ms.No.183, 184 & 185, HM & FW
(E1) Department, dt.30-6-2004 the counseling for admission into
the seats to be filled by the competent authority for the year
2004-05 will be held at NTR University of Health Sciences,
Vijayawada from 17-07-2004 to 25-07-2004.
As per the above G.Os the University will fill up all the seats
in Government Medical and Dental Colleges, Category A-50% of the
seats and Category B-25% of seats in private unaided
non-minority medical and dental colleges and Category A-25%,
B-25%, C-15% and D-10% of seats in Private Unaided Minority
Medical and Dental Colleges.
The rank holders of EAMCET-2004 mentioned below, who have
applied in response to the Notification No.1532/MBBS/BDS/EA1/2004,
dated.10-6-2004 and 1-7-2004 for admission into
MBBS / BDS Courses for 2004-05 are eligible to attend the
counseling as per the schedule given below:

NOTE :
The candidates are directed to
bring all original certificates and two sets of attested Xerox
copies and Demand Draft for the College fee and University fee
as specified below. The fee will be accepted only in the form of
bank draft or pay order.
2. The Minority candidates are directed to bring the Minority
Certificate issued by the MRO.
3. As more number of candidates are called than the available
seats, seat is not guaranteed.
If necessary the candidates have to stay for more than one day.
4. As on 9-7-04 the total number of seats available for
admission by the University are
Medical 2057 (Govt 1155 Pvt 902 )
Dental 415 (Govt 40 Pvt 375 )
5. The actual number of seats available for admission by
University in Government and Private colleges will be displayed
on 17-07-2004 at the University.
6. The University will not be able to fill up by counseling any
extra seats created after the counseling has commenced, by way
of granting late permission by Government of India for any
(Medical / Dental) Colleges since the process of admission has
to be completed by 25-7-04, the deadline set by Medical Council
of India to bring uniformity in Medical Education in the
Country.
7. The candidates who are not present Physically in person will
be treated as absent.
8. The candidates who are selected for admission will have to
deposit tuition fees (provisional) as per the details given here
under in the from of crossed demand draft(s) drawn in favour of
Registrar, NTR University of Health Sciences payable at
Vijayawada.
9. One Parent / Guardian only is allowed alongwith candidate for
the counseling.

The Justice
Sri Bayapu Reddy Committee’s recommendations on fees for the
current academic year are yet to be received. This figure is as
per the last year. The candidates will have to pay the fees
according to the recommendations of the committee and as per the
orders of Govt. Therefore the candidates will have to pay the
difference in the amount of fee if the fees are fixed higher
than the last year or will get a refund of the fees if the fees
are fixed lower than the last year.
