NOTIFICATION

In the light of the judgment of Hon’ble High Court of A.P. in W.P.No.12239/2004 & batch dated 21-9-2004, 5% of the seats which were set apart earlier in pursuance of the interim directions of the Hon’ble High Court in the W.P.M.P.No.15546/2004 & batch in W.P.No.12239/2004 & batch will be now offered under Open competition. These seats along with vacancies that have arisen as a result of cancellation of seats by few candidates and seats surrendered by Managements of few Minority and non-minority engineering colleges are now offered under General category to candidates who have qualified in EAMCET-2004 based on their merit and as per rules in vogue. Accordingly, all qualified and eligible candidates are informed to attend the counselling as per the programme schedule given at any one of the following counselling centers.

CAT ‘OC’ means Open Competition.

Candidates who are satisfied with their previous allotment need not attend the counselling. Already admitted candidates shall bring Provisional Allotment order, Receipt of Certificates, Tuition fee receipt and fresh candidates have to bring all the original certificates and fee. For details like certificates to be brought, fee to be paid, etc., candidates are informed to refer the earlier notification. Candidates who have taken admission in Degree Colleges or any other college shall bring a certificate from the Principal stating that all the originals are deposited with them and the same will be returned in case the candidate secures admission in the ongoing counselling. The vacancy position, the details of the programme schedule on each day etc., is available in the website http://eamcet.dte.gov.in.  This notification itself is a call for counselling and no separate call letters will be sent. Candidates may have to stay a day extra if necessary.

ATTENTION OF Bi.P.C. STREAM CANDIDATES

Counselling for admission into B.Pharmacy & B.Tech Bio-Technology courses for Bi.P.C stream candidates will be conducted from 3-10-2004 to 6-10-2004 as already notified.
