Integrated Common Entrance Test for Admission into M.B.A.and M.C.A.Courses of all Universities in Andhra Pradesh and their Affiliated Colleges (Being conducted on behalf of APSCHE)

Applications are invited fo0r appearing at the Common Entrance Test for Admission into MBA and MCA Courses (full time/part time/evening /distance mode) at the following Universities in the State of Andhra Pradesh including their Affiliated colleges for the Academic year 2004-2005 to be conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati (As per G.O.Ms.No.25/Higher Edn/Dept.dated 19-3-2004)

(1) Andhra University; (2) Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University; (3) JNT University; (4) Kakatiya University; (5) Acharya Nagarjuna University (6) Osmania University; (7) S.K.University; (8) S.V.University; (9) Sri Padmavathi Mahila Vishwa Vidyalayam

Eligibility for appearance at the Common Entrance Test

a) The candidate should be Indian National and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as amended up-to-date.

b) Admission into any college depends on its ecognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.

c) Persons other than Indian Nationals shall satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned and

d) A pass in Bachelor's Degree except BOL & BFA or appearing at final year exam of Bachelor's Degree of Universities in Andhra Pradesh or any other University recognized as equivalent there to.

Merely qualifying in the Entrance Test does not ent9itle a candidate to be admitted into the MBA/MCA courses unless the candidate:

*Applies to the authority concerned in response to its admission notification, and

* Satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority concerned

ICET-2004 SCHEDULE

Sale of Application forms: Prescribed application for Entrance Test together with instructions booklet can be had in person on payment of Rs200/- in cash at the e-Seva (in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad only) and all the Head Post Offices and all the Post Offices located in University campuses in the state of A.P.

Submission of Application forms: Duly filled-in Application forms (placed in the envelope supplied) may be submitted along with the relevant documents by paying service charges of Rs.10/- through e-Seva Centres in twin cities of Hyderabad andSecunderabad only) or Rs.30/- through the Head Post Offices or in person s as to reach the Convenor, ICET-2004, Andhra Bank (upstairs), Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati-517 502.A.P., on or before 22-4-2004. The applications may also be submitted up to 5.00pm on 29-4-2004 with a late fee of Rs.400/- by way of DD drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of the Secretary, APSCHE payable at Hyderabad. Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date and time will be summarily rejected.
