NOTIFICATION
H1/3502/2004 Dt : 05-6-2004
The qualified candidates of CEEP-2004 examination belonging to AU/OU/SVU/NL areas are
informed to attend the counselling for admission into 1st year in engineering / non
engineering diploma courses as per the schedules given below.
Admissions will be made to the extent of 100% seats simultaneously for the seats to be
filled with the local candidates (85%) and unreserved seats (15%) in three regions viz,
Andhra University area, Osmania University area and Sri Venkateswara University area.
There will not be any separate admission camp for filling up the 15% of the unreserved
seats. The candidates have to produce the following ORIGINAL Certificates at the time of
admission. (a) SSC Marks Memo, (b) Study Certificate from 4th to 10th class, (c)
Integrated Caste Certificate issued by competent Revenue Authority in respect of BC/SC/ST
candidates, (d) Latest Income Certificate in respect of SC/ST/BC candidates from concerned
MRO, (e) Medical Certificate issued by the District Medical Board in case of PH
candidates, (f) Original NCC/CAP/Sports certificates, (g) Rank card and Hall Ticket of
CEEP-2004 examination, (h) Clearance certificate from the concerned Zilla Sainik Welfare
Board in respect of CAP Category, (i) Two pass port size photos and two sets of Xerox
copies of all certificates, (j) Minority community certificate issued by MRO or the
concerned religious heads of their locality along with transfer certificate in case of
Minority candidates and (k) Residence Certificate from the concerned MRO, Ration card and
copy of electoral rolls in case of candidates seeking admission into Q.Q. Govt.
Polytechnic, Old City, Hyderabad.
The Candidates have to pay the fee at the time of admission as given below:

The Fee can be paid by means of Demand
Draft drawn in favour of Convenor, CEEP-2004 admissions on any nationalized bank
or in cash at the bank counters available in the admission camp. SC/ST
candidates are exempted from paying tuition fee and special fee if their
parental income from all sources is less than Rs.50,920/- per annum. Tuition fee
in Govt./Aided Polytechnics is exempted at the time of counselling for BC
candidates whose parental income is less than Rs.44,500/- per annum. However,
they have to pay Special fee at the time of counselling and seek reimbursement
later on. In case of Private Unaided Polytechnics they have to pay full fees of
Rs.10,830/- and later seek reimbursement of fee from the BC Welfare Department.
The above BC/SC/ST candidates will have to pay other fees of Rs.330/- apart from
the registration & counselling fee. In both the cases, the income certificate
issued by M.R.O. after 1-1-2004 will alone be accepted.
CENTRALIZED
ADMISSIONS
Counselling for
PH, CAP, NCC, Sports and Anglo Indian category candidates will be held at
Sankethika Vidya Bhavan Masabtank, Hyderabad only, as their inter-se merit
will be decided after verification of their certificates and medical examination
in case of PH candidates. Interested candidates will have to attend at the above
centre for counselling i.e. at Hyderabad only as per the following schedule.

ADMISSIONS
Counselling for Open/SC/ST/BC/Minority category seats
for candidates of all local areas (AU/OU/SVU/Including the unreserved seats)
will be conducted through an online computerized process. Candidates claiming
admission under these categories can attend at any one of the following venues
of their convenience as per the schedule given below:

Note :
1.
‘ALL’ in respect
of ‘CATEGORY’ means OC/BC/SC/ST categories including minority community
candidates to consider them for Open Competition seats (OC). Candidates
belonging to BC/SC/ST categories have to once again attend for counselling on
the dates specified for the seats earmarked for them in their respective
reservation categories as per GO.Ms.No.550 Edn. Dept, dt 31-7-2002

Open category
candidates are once again called for the leftover and converted seats of other
categories from 24th June to 26th June.
3.
The candidates belonging to Minority communities are informed to note that
seats in Govt. Minority Institutions will be offered along with OC seats in
other institutions.
4.
Admissions shall be given
only to those institutions for which Government/AICTE has accorded its
approval. The intakes in Polytechnics as given in CEEP-2004 Instructions
Booklet are indicative. However, there may be additions or deletions in
intakes as per the AICTE/State Govt. approvals as on the day of admissions.
The admissions may be terminated as soon as seats are filled in a particular
category without any further notification.
5. The candidates may have
to stay for a day more, if necessary at their own cost. More number of
candidates are called than the number of seats available and mere attending
counselling does not guarantee a seat.
6.
Seats allotted once will
not be cancelled.
7.
Extension of time either
to produce the original certificates or to pay the fees will not be granted.
8.
For information regarding
the priorities under the special categories viz. CAP, NCC, PH and SPORTS
categories, the candidates may refer to r-2004 information booklet. If
there is more than one candidate in a particular group, in the same order of
priority, the selection shall be based on rank at CEEP-2004. If the Government
issues any modified orders, before commencement of counselling such
modification will be adopted for admission under these categories.
9.
Girl candidates can also
compete for admission along with boys for admission into co-education
Polytechnics.
10.
Only limited hostel
accommodation is available at a few polytechnics.
11.
Call letters are not sent
individually. This notification itself is to be treated as a call to attend
the counseling.
12. Claims
under reservation categories will be subject to the final verification by the
concerned Departments at the venue of admissions.
13. The
candidates may avail the “Personal Accident Insurance Policy for Polytechnic
students” at the time of admission for Rs.360/-.
14. Class
work will commence from 1-7-2004.
