NALSAR
University of Law, Hyderabad, an institution of national eminence in the field of legal
education and research, is a residential University established under the National Academy
of Legal Studies and Research University Act, 1998, (Andhra Pradesh Act 34 of 1998). |
FIVE-YEAR
B.A.,B.L.(HONS). PROGRAMME |
| ELIGIBILITY : |
Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2
System) or equivalent Examination with not less than 50% of marks in the Aggregate (those
appearing for the examination in March / April, 2004 can also apply). |
| AGE LIMIT : |
Below 20 years as on 1st July, 2004 (22
years in case of SC/ST candidates). |

Annual tuition fee Rs.50,000/- (including
Campus Development Fund fee). Academic Service Fee, Hostel and Mess charges will be extra.
Hostel residence is compulsory. |

LL.B./B.L. Degree or an equivalent degree
of a recognised University having secured not less than 55% of marks in the aggregate |

Rs. 30,000/- annual tuition fee, besides
academic support services fee of Rs.3,000/- per annum. |

PROGRAMME |
Admission will be strictly on
merit basis through an All India Entrance Test to be conducted at 3.00 p.m.on Sunday, the
16th of May, 2004 at Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata,
Lucknow and Mumbai. If sufficient applications are not received for any centre, the
University reserves the right not to conduct the test at such centre.
All correspondence relating to Admission should be made to the Deputy Registrar at the
City Office address only. Prospectus along with prescribed application form will be
available from 16th February, 2004 at the city office or by sending a Bank Draft for
Rs.1000/-, including Test Fee (Rs. 500/- in case of S.C and S.T candidates alongwith Caste
Certificate) in favour of Registrar, NALSAR University payable at Hyderabad.
Applications along with prospectus for B.A.,B.L.(Hons) programme will also be available at
the main branches of the INDIAN BANK at the metropolitan cities and state capitals by
paying Rs.1020/- (Rs.520/- in case of S.C/ST candidates). The closing date for requisition
by post is 12th April, 2004. Application form can also be downloaded here from 16th
February 2004, and the filled in application should be sent along with a demand draft for
Rs.1,000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST). The duly filled in form must reach the Deputy Registrar
on or before 19th April, 2004. Applications received after the last date will be rejected.
The University will not be responsible for any delay.
Previous test papers are available for guidance and the University reserves the right to
alter the pattern of the Test. Nine test and model papers of previous years are available
at Rs. 50/- per paper. (Rs.450/- for full set) These may be obtained by sending a separate
Bank Draft for the prescribed amount plus the amount of Rs. 45/- towards postage. Full set
can also be had from the branches of Indian Bank by paying Rs.470/- per set.
