The Intensive Prep for the TOEFL Test course
is designed for students seeking both a high score on the TOEFL test and the general
English skills necessary for success in university studies. Course Content
This 30-hour-per-week course consists of two parts. Two lessons per day focus on the test
itself: You learn about the different types of questions in the three parts of the test
(Listening Comprehension, Structure and Written Expression, and Vocabulary and Reading
Comprehension), study test-taking techniques, and answer and discuss sample test items.
Two complete practice tests and numerous mini-tests are administered during the four-week
session.
Your remaining four lessons are spent improving your skills needed for success in an
academic environment through involvement in normal segments of the ELS Language Centers
Intensive English Course.
Length
The course material is divided to form two distinct four-week modules, which means that
you can take the TOEFL course two sessions in a row without repeating content.
