KOMATIREDDY WANTS LAGADAPATI SUSPENDED FROM PARTY

The Minister for IT and Youth Services, Mr Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, has said that the Congress MP, Mr Lagadapati Rajagopal, should be immediately suspended from the party for his anti-party activities.

Talking to mediapersons here on Thursday, the minister has alleged that the MP had colluded with the TRS party for swallowing the Wakf Board properties. He was responding to the by-election survey results announced by the Vijayawada MP.

It may mentioned here that Mr Rajagopal recently said that he had a survey on the by-elections conducted by an Eluru-based organization and it revealed that all those who had resigned from the legislature memberships in favour of Telangana state and caused by-elections would retain their seats. He also said that he had faith in the organization that conducted the survey and said they had been conducting accurate surveys since 1995.

Several Congress leaders, however, said that the survey organization was Mr Rajagopal''s pocket company and its findings had no sanctity.

Mr Komatiredy said that Mr Rajagopal''s surveys always proved wrong. He said that the 2009 survey conducted by Mr Rajagopal''s organization proved totally incorrect. He said that Mr Rajagopal has caused mental agony to the Congress candidates by revealing the results of his faulty survey. Branding Mr Rajagopal as an opportunist, the minister said that he had earlier colluded with the TDP and organized the Seemandhra ''fake'' agitation. Now, he has colluded with KCR, he charged.
